Thankfully my reason for not writing has been nothing but good! My winter break started in Oswego, and ended in California. It would be safe saying that this was the best break I have ever had, and my trip to California was my absolute favorite vacation yet. I realized and learned so many new things. Leave it to California to continue to help me grow and prosper. I am so thankful for every single one of my Californian friends. I always knew that each of them were amazing but this trip didn't fail to remind me and show me how ridiculously amazing that they are! I love them all so much and would trade the world to be able to move back to Southern California and be just a short drive away from them.
On another, less exciting, note--I had to start class again today. I can't wait until I can be out of this place! I know that ISU is a great school and the location isn't all that bad. But, for me it's pretty terrible. After being spoiled by the California sun and the LA scenery coming back to Bloomington-Normal is pretty depressing.
I promise to write about my vacation and all of the exciting things that happened to me, but for now I need to go make sure I know what classes I have to show up to tomorrow. :)
